The governing body of NCWTL is made up of the Presidents of the Regional Queenmothers Associations; Representatives of Women Chiefs and other recognized forms of women traditional leadership and partners in advocacy for women’s right.
To tap on their skills and expertise in their professions and vocations, the governing body has established committees on education, health, water, sanitation, entrepreneurship, governance, culture, children and youth.
To ensure sustainability and continuity, the governing body works with an advisory board comprising experienced women traditional leaders and former executive members of NCWTL. This is based on the concept of the “Abrewa” (old lady) in traditional practice.
